Don Tomas Bakery in Monte Vista

Friendly service, fresh food, great selection at the bakery, price for a stake plate is a bit higher then normal and small ceramic cups for the coffee were down sides for me.

Driving thru and wanted a donut...ended up having 3! But the bonus was the stack of fresh flour tortillas I picked up for the road!!! It's little gems like this that really male you appreciate small bakery's and difference in quality compared to the supermarea chains....

A must stop place. Everything is good.

There donuts are cold, hard, and full of grease. Tastes like they made them days ago and refried them.

Breakfast sandwich was great and super fast service. Prices are good as well. Really peaceful place to grab a good bite to eat.

Nice place to have a quiet cup of coffee, the pastries are also very tasty. I also understand that a very nice breakfast may be had here. Personal are very friendly. Highly recommend.

Very good food. You know it is made with love and care. I ordered freshly squeezed orange juice and it was squeezed for my order and I believed they used tangerines😍. Also the side toast was homemade bread.

Friendliest person ever runs this place, at least I assume the older Hispanic man who served us was the owner. We just got coffee and a breakfast sandwich, hardly haute cuisine, but pretty tasty, good price, and super pleasant atmosphere. Will stop there every time I pass through.

Love this place, great bakery items and wonderful food! You .at have to wait a few minutes for the food served hot but it is worth the wait.

Loved this little mom and pop shop in town! Stopped for a late breakfast. Great prices on breakfast burritos, coffee and sandwiches. Have some small budget priced plates too as well as a full menu of different mexican food options. Lots of donuts and mexican bakery items too! Friendly staff and clean restaurant!

My friends and I love Don Tomas so much and we eat here often! The family who run it are very warm and friendly. The baked goods are yummy and their breakfast items are delicious! It's so nice to have a place like this in town 😁If you're passing through definitely stop here!

Super fun local bakery! Was in town for the Sand Dunes and got lucky enough to stumble upon this gem! The women working there were very kind, they have an extensive bakery, and also have great breakfast burritos! 10/10 would go there again. It was also fun seeing all the locals who obviously go there regularly (I would too!). Very very reasonably priced!

Cakes are delicious and reasonably priced. They are great at getting the perfect and exact design you ask for. Use them for every celebration that needs cake!

Really nice people and good wholesome food. We had an omelet and a breakfast quesadilla. Both were great. Grabbed a cinnamon roll and an empanada for the road. We will definitely stop here next time we are passing through Monte Vista.

This bakery is incredible. I’d show you the fresh custard filled donut, but it’s already gone. Haha! What a great experience to find this shop.Even through a drive thru window we could feel the love that goes into these special treats. We couldn’t have asked for a better stop on the way home. A must stop every time!
